Need

An opportunistic hiring model to engage talent across multiple functions and geographies

A global client of ours needed something different than a standard search model. They needed a partnership arrangement that would allow them to control their time and cost, while maximizing visibility to talent across many markets.

Webber Kerr proposed and executed the UDesign Model allowing the architecture and building engineering division to control each step of the search process by choosing which segments of the search process it wanted to engage and pay for.

Challenge

Budget and hiring restraints limited the ability to move quickly and engage in traditional fee arrangements.

Multiple senior leadership openings within the business unit.

Internal recruiting resources were at full capacity and the business was in need of a flux of operational leadership talent.

 

Solution

UDesign Model

An a la carte, pay as-you-go model, allowing the client to pay for the level of service needed

    Results

    An initial research phase was initiated, resulting in the identification of over 50 prospective candidates that had an initial interest, met profile requirements, were relocatable and within the salary grade.

    Next an engagement and vetting stage was implemented resulting in the hiring of 3 executives in North America and Western Europe.

    The client held all intelligence and gained a cost savings of 50% in search fees.
